Yunus Findus & CRI

Yunus & Christina, aka Yunus Findus & CRI, are friends, collaborators and members of their Zurich-based collective Beach Club Underground. After having played a Valentine’s Day set together at a party for singles & lovers, it musically clicked. Funky & groovy selections, spiced with a pinch of obscurity, silliness and childhood nostalgia.

Drawing on his mixed background, Yunus enjoys playing eclectic vinyl sets, built on mixed traditions, sounds and rhythms from an early age. He works as booker at Jazz club Moods and is also a curator, radio host and DJ based in Zurich. Together with his collective Half Notes at the Smoke Floor, he tries to connect jazz and electronica, through floor hostings, their monthly radio show on GDS.FM or Half Notes live jazz evenings at Kauz.

Christina is an event-organizer and DJ from Zurich. She has been a mainstay in the local electronica scene, known for big, deep basslines and dubby textures. The groove goes on, drawing on her immersion in jazz and funk from an early age.
