About the Performance: Celestial Invocation (LIVE AV – BLACKOUT EDITION)

In Celestial Invocation, Singaporean sound artist and composer Mervin Wong offers his most deliberate work yet, composed, produced, and impeccably finished in immersive audio. It is a sacred passage in sound, a journey that begins submerged and rises toward the light. This is not a call to distant heavens; it is a listening to what has always been here: the resonance within the air and our bodies, the eternal in the cellular, the echo that listens back. Composed and performed with the awareness that space itself can be an instrument, each piece unfolds as a ritual of surrender. Rather than impose emotion, Mervin Wong lets the music lead, opening himself and the listener to energies already present. This is an invitation to explore a deep intention toward listening within.
