Luca Bonaccorsi

floats over us;

The performance attempts to create an abstract audio-visual tridimensional portrait of the sound and vision of the current world landscape – radiations and microplastics. The artist has observed raw data and numbers regarding the emission of CO2 in the atmosphere, temperature rise levels, and e-waste production, translating them into sound sculptures and rhythms of the music, using samples that have been resynthesized several times as an attempt to emulate the sound spectrum of electromagnetic radiations. The visuals are driven by the sound, attempting to create a fundamental bond between sound and vision, avoiding any sort of priority. The visuals are imagined as eerie entities driven by numbers and fluid interactions and motion, floating in the atmosphere over us.
