Hailing from Taipei, ELC sees music as pure essence—something as natural and indispensable as sunlight, rain, and air. With more than a decade behind the decks, she takes techno as her point of departure, continually pushing into uncharted dimensions. Through sound, she explores and weaves illusions with avant-garde, psychedelic mixes that flow like shifting light and shadow: cold, avant-garde, dreamlike, yet always carrying a delicate emotional undercurrent.

Guided by instinct, she doesn’t seek to conform to established sonic frameworks, preserving the most genuine emotion and individuality in her music. She creates unpredictable sonic realms, exploring her own direction through the unknown.

Overnight Dance Session Special (Curated in collaboration with tripper)

Dancing from late at night until dawn is perhaps the closest electronic music culture comes to ritual. Through recurring beats and bodies moving together, participants form a temporary community, sharing a stretch of time outside the rhythms of everyday life. In response to the question posed by this edition of Sonic Shaman—“How (Not) to Believe in This World Again”—the overnight program offers an answer: return to the body; return to a stretch of time that cannot be fast-forwarded, but can only be experienced firsthand. It is an experience that no screen can generate or fabricate. Carrying that experience with us, we return to the world.
