Infinite Corridor

The Analog Girl

The showcase presents sonic textures and musical forms inspired by the visual qualities of the performance space and the festival theme Borderless. Here, Borderless is understood as a state of freedom and fearlessness in creation and performance, pointing toward a practice unconfined by predetermined frameworks.

Surrounded by illuminated instruments such as the Tenori-On, Monome, and Percussa AudioCubes, the artist interacts with these devices in real time, blending electronic sounds with organic vocals to construct sonic passages that shift between rhythmic, dance-driven moments and ethereal, floating atmospheres.

Embracing a spirit of experimentation, the artist considers the dismantling of both sonic and linguistic boundaries during the curatorial and compositional phases, with these reflections materialising in the final performance.

The Analog Girl (Singapore) is an electronic musician, creating and performing using a myriad of instruments such as the Tenori-On, Monome and Percussa AudioCubes. What started out as a lo-fi bedroom project using portable synthesizers and cassette tape recorders has since evolved into some kind of dreamlike technicolour pop universe.

Named by TIME magazine as one of 5 Music Acts To Watch in 2008, The Analog Girl has had audiences worldwide plugged into her sound at a spectrum of venues and festivals including CMJ Music Festival in New York, Nick Knightʼs SHOWstudio Revue in London, Worldtronics Festival at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin and Spring Scream in Taiwan.

She has also supported a number of international acts including Justice, Men I Trust, Iceage, The Whitest Boy Alive and Telepathe.
